F1 in Schools is a social enterprise that provides a challenging yet exciting global educational programme to students of ages between 9-19 years old, raising awareness of Formula 1 and STEM education.
The competition is a fun way for students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Project Management as well. Moreover, the contestants gain useful values, such as leadership, teamwork, media skills, communication and financial strategy and apply them in a practical, creative, competitive and exciting way.
F1 in Schools teams follow the F1 teams’ lead and create a similar car in a miniature form. Apart from that, they create a business plan to promote the team and find resources.
